Pam's Life

Dedicated to the memory of Henry Charles Hennings, Jr. This tribute is in loving gratitude for the many gifts he gave us all. Any donation in Henry's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be gratefully received. My Greatest Sadness.

It is with deep heartfelt pain and sorrow that I write that my Henry, our brilliant friend and my loving husband, has left this world to be with his mother, father, sisters, and our loving Lord Jesus, on August 26, 2009. I loved him very much and miss him so. We said "I Love You" to one another every day.

A remembrance of Henry's spirit and his life will take place at Ben Rogers Park in Milpitas, on Saturday, September 5 at 10:30 a.m. Please bring your personal memories of Henry to share with us what you know of the beauty of his life and all the wonderful things he did, as I only was given eight years to share with him.

Henry fought diabetes valiantly, lived well in spite of it, had a lot of fun, experienced the joys of fatherhood and his four children, was a good and hard-working man, and had so much love in his heart for everyone he knew.

We would ask that, in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. For those unable to attend this Saturday morning, there will be an evening dinner remembrance to honor him, to be announced at a later date. Let us toast and praise the brave, strong man who touched so many lives wherever he went, always on his beloved bicycle.

Thank you for your many kind condolences. I can be contacted at: pamela.hennings@gmail.com. May God's blessings be with Henry's spirit forever, and peace be with all his friends and family during this difficult time.

Loving Him Always,
Mrs. Pamela Hennings
