Dedicated to the memory of Henry Charles Hennings, Jr. This tribute is in loving gratitude for the many gifts he gave us all. Any donation in Henry's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be gratefully received. Go to www.jdrf.org, and revisit www.pamslife.com for information regarding the Spring 2010 silent auction and JDRF benefit at Ben Rogers Park in Milpitas. Thank you, may God bless you, and may you "always keep a diamond in your mind." (--Tom Waits)

Early Sunday Morning.

This is true. Could not sleep past 4:30 am. Got up, got slippers, put dogs out. Played with dogs, played piano, tried teaching dogs to play piano. Started out with Sophie, putting her on the piano bench next me, coaxing her with treats - put a treat on the key, say give me your paw, take paw and touch a key then give treat, but she didn't get it after several tries - so TJ barges right in between us with that long reach of his and put his paw right on the keyboard, sounding a strong doggy chord above middle C. He knows what he's doing. He's a smart dog.
