From A Land Down Under.

My friend sends me Vegemite in a tube. This rocks. Americans cannot buy Vegemite in 2-Lb. jars or tubes at Whole Foods or The Milk Pail. You can only get 2 oz. jars.

A Thousand Pardons.

Sorry I haven't written! It's been a busy life. As the saying goes, so much to do, so little time. My second cousin is having a baby, that is the most wonderful news to report. Mom and Dad are back home from Arizona, my brother and sister and their families and my children and my sweetheart and my entire family are all happy and well and really enjoying the holidays. Holiday partying has begun and everything is so good and warm and life is wonderful. There is some great new holiday music out there. You just have to go find it. Tower Records is going out of business, selling cds for practically pennies and if you dig, you can find some really great stuff. I think I'll go there again tonight. Monday I went and found Stanley Clarke's School Days and if you only knew how ironic it felt to me to buy, 30 years later, a cd for the same price I paid for the lp, you could say either "History repeats itself," or "There is justice in the world." I also picked a double cd of Dave Brubeck nocturnes. I walked out of there for fifteen bucks. Amazing. Sorry to see good old Tower go. It's been there for us a long, long time.
