Dancing On Treadmills With OK Go

The next time you feel bored, get together with three of your most coordinated friends, go to the local gym and try this neat little trick.

Piece of cake.

Thanks, Dave and the KFOG Morning Show!

Were it not for KFOG broadcasting from Gordon Biersch on Friday, I'd have never had the chance to win backstage passes to Ben Harper. Grateful thanks to all the gang: Peter, Greg, Renee and Dave. You guys are the best. Posted by Picasa

Backstage with Ben Harper!

Totally lucky Yours Truly was ever so fortunate to have scored backstage passes to Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals at the Greek on Saturday night!!! (see below) Once in a lifetime seems to strike a little more frequently lately.

Ben is obviously a believer, with songs like "There Will Be A Light," "Picture of Jesus," "Amen Omen," and "When She Believes." Not to mention the INCREDIBLE rocking rock and roll. He rocked the Greek in a HUGE way, that man.

The most versatile artist ever, Harper reggaed, rocked out and totally mesmerized everybody with his beautiful, beautiful voice and haunting ballads. I especially love his albums featuring Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and the Alabama Blind Boys. Oh, and isn't he gorgeous! It was an over-the-top, incredibly fantastic night to remember. Economy.

There's new kitchen flooring being installed at the house, and because it's a two-day process, right now the refrigerator is sitting in the living room. Which, of course, the dog is really happy about, because he doesn't have to walk as far whenever I ask him to fetch me a beer.
