Another Sweet Beautiful San Greg Gig.

Ah, alas. I have been fortunate enough to have garnered another key spot on San Gregorio's love-worn calendar. I love this. Please come see me, or us as it may be, sing sweet songs with love to you to make you feel good. (Ah sang purdy gud.) The "us" part of that reference is to my friend Tim Lowery, who has a voice sweet as sugar that blends with mine like sassafras and honey. It's always good when we perform but sometimes he gets called at the last minute away to better more important (aka "paying") gigs. I can hold my own if that happens of course, but it just won't be near as good.

Be there with bells on and hope Tim shows. yayaayyyyyyy TIMMMMMMN!

My Mom The Artist.

My mother is an artist. Did you know? She is a creative decorator and an excellent painter. I remember as a child I watched as she would tape off a room, toss out a tarp, climb a stepladder and just start painting away. She's naturally good at it. She doesn't paint as much as she used to, but the memories still linger.

Picture this: It's the sixties. Sis's room is deep sky blue, mine was a soft peach, I think, and everyone else's was spanking white. She touched up in between, too. It wasn't until I was grown and went to the paint store for the first time, purchased all the supplies and did my best to try to follow her example did I ever before really, truly appreciate how good a painter she is.

Hilarity.

From my friend, Pam. This woman is tremendously funny. Pam, you would make a great comedian. I really think we should put together an act, roam the hills and coasts of greater Australia to bars, pubs and dusty roadside stations, wherever we can find an audience, to drink free beer and entertain dozens. You open with a comedy routine, much like the one outlined below, and I'll follow with some nice, fun music. Get the audience involved. Sound like fun? Let's go.

My 5th Cousin Tyson.

I am related to the cute guy with the blue eyes and caterpillar eyebrows. Most of the Sherman men have them. Tyson Ritter of the All American Rejects. Glad to see one of us make it big!
