Pam's Life

Dedicated to the memory of Henry Charles Hennings, Jr. This tribute is in loving gratitude for the many gifts he gave us all. Any donation in Henry's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be gratefully received. Go to www.jdrf.org, and revisit www.pamslife.com for information regarding the Spring 2010 silent auction and JDRF benefit at Ben Rogers Park in Milpitas. Thank you, may God bless you, and may you "always keep a diamond in your mind." (--Tom Waits)

Ladies and Gentlegerms, Mr....Bobby....Blaaaaaaackkkk!

Me n Bobby McB. Gosh. What a thrill of a lifetime, to have the chance to record with this wonderful musician gentleman. Henry notwithstanding, Bobby is my new favorite guy.

Well.

Well, apparently, it cannot happen. The fruitless combination of Earthlink (worst ISP on the planet), Blogger (aka "Bogger") and Microsoft eX-Pee is disallowing me from posting a couple of nutty things, so, forget about it. For now.

It Could Happen.

Okay, here we go. I think I'll print this up on little t-shirts for the bachelorette party.

And Into This World...

...another child is born, into a family so loving so sweet, now complete.

Welcome Marshall James Sherman, born February 14, 2005, at 9:01 a.m., weighing 9 lbs., 11 oz., 21" long. And isn't he beautiful!

Congratulations Matthew and Lisa, Madison and Parker. The family has another Sherman to love. And lots of him at that! Live long and kick ass, kid.

How Low Can We Go?

Found a website promoting an undersea resort. Look at these claims -- didn't they say the same thing about the Titanic? Honestly, some things are just not meant to be. Clue: Just look at the shuttle disasters. We weren't meant to exist in space, and we weren't meant to exist under the ocean. Short trips are fine, but lengthy stays by masses of people are just not a good idea.

Poseidon Undersea Resorts left one rather burning question off its list of FAQ's: Where exactly does waste and sewage flow to? Kind of an important point, I would think. Frankly, I hope this kind of thing never comes to fruition. Too dangerous a threat to our already-fragile ecosystems.

It's A Musical Life.

I'm so happy right now. Henry is moving up here. He gave notice at his job in LA and will be here by mid-March. Good news. In the meantime, I'm singing and playing and having fun. Went to the city yesterday, bought a t-shirt. Lots of traffic. On and on and on.

Valentines.

This February 14, I will be in the studio with Steel Guitar Hall of Fame honoree Bobby Black, putting the finishing touches on my song, Roses Are Black. Sweet. I hope to finish this little project some time soon. Stay tuned! And if I haven't said it enough, my producer-director-magician, R.T. Carleton, is one of the very best people the music world has to offer.
