Pam's Life

Dedicated to the memory of Henry Charles Hennings, Jr. This tribute is in loving gratitude for the many gifts he gave us all. Any donation in Henry's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be gratefully received. Go to www.jdrf.org, and revisit www.pamslife.com for information regarding the Spring 2010 silent auction and JDRF benefit at Ben Rogers Park in Milpitas. Thank you, may God bless you, and may you "always keep a diamond in your mind." (--Tom Waits)

Beautiful New Bridge.

And you thought the Golden Gate was cool. Enjoy this photo of the new Millau Viaduct over the River Tarn, inaugurated just yesterday. Gorgeous, isn't it? I want to ride my bicycle over it someday. (But first I must still conquer the Golden Gate!)
Small town girl, big-time dreams.

1,000,001 Reasons to be Thankful.

I have a million and one reasons to be thankful, but here are just a few:
1. Both my parents are alive and well, and are enjoying a comfortable retirement.
2. My child is sleeping peacefully in the next room after having done her homework and socialized with twelve of her best friends.
3. I am happily in love, with my life, situation, and the comedy therein. Fortunate enough to have existed in a time and place where I am accepted, appreciated, unharmed, and encouraged to express myself through my music. What a blast.

Vision.

I envision a world thousands of years from now where we have overcome racial and religious differences. All people shun all acts of hatred. All debts have been forgotten. Each sunrise is a new opportunity to do good and peaceful things, and each sunset an opportunity to reflect on who we are, what we have done, and what we will do tomorrow. All that exists is peace, love, and Nature.

Dog Underexposed.

I love this picture I took of my dog TJ.
It was a dark and stormy morning,
and with a couple software effects,
it turned out rather interesting.
