Photojournal of a Good Boring Sunday.

I bought marigolds at the farmers market.
I made bean soup.
I played piano for the dog.
I made shadow pictures.

Day Tripper.

I went for the most magnificent drive yesterday through the Calaveras hills. At sunrise, to the beautiful reservoir. It was amazing. A flock of magpies that were challenging my presence among them. A huge hawk slowly soared in circles over the lake. A coyote almost dashed under the wheels of my truck but he was wiley and turned round at the very last moment. I saw a quail scurry up a hill with his little comb wiggling in the wind. I felt the sunshine on my face and the wind stinging my fingers. Coffee's ready. Good Morning World.

Plastic Never Dies.

In an era where glut seems to be the norm, this exhibit struck me like an avalanche: The True Toy Story. Read about one man's journey to where unneeded things are made, and the statement he made as a result.
